Three Gents Music Scholarship Application

Deadline: April 15, 2024  -  5PM

Amount: $1000

The Three Gents Music Scholarship was an idea birthed from a desire to see talented, hardworking, and dedicated musicians get recognition for their efforts along with some financial assistance for attendance at a college or university. Many students are rewarded for their academic prowess or athletic talents, however musical accomplishments are often underrepresented in scholarship programs. Our family, the Browns, is a family of musicians. We play a variety of instruments including trombone (bass, tenor, and alto), trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophone (alto, tenor, and soprano), violin, piano, guitar, and voice. We love music and understand it’s importance in our world. We want to encourage young musicians to keep playing, keep singing, keep making beautiful music. The Three Gentlemen that this scholarship is named after are the three youngest members of the Brown family (Joshua, Daniel and Noah). We hope that this scholarship will be a blessing to dedicated musicians.

All applications will be screened based on musical accolades (District, Region, State recognition), GPA,  short answer essay questions, teacher and music educator recommendation forms, and audition video.

The application and all materials must be submitted electronically by May 1, 2023 to be considered.   Incomplete applications will be disqualified.  All awards will be dispersed to the college or university the recipient will attend next fall. The Brown Family reserves the right to withhold scholarships if false or misleading information is submitted.
